walk you through some tricks to easy growing mustard greens.
Mustard Greens are Equally Easy to Grow and Prepare
Choosing the Best Mustard Variety for Growing
I realize that this
line may sound a bit unreal, but my personal experience says that every single
mustard variety I’ve tried growing did just fine.
All I do with these
fast growing plants is put them in moist, rich, well-drained soil and make sure
they get lots of sun. I also feed them with carefully chosen nutrient solutions for plants to ensure the best
harvest results.
It might have been a
coincidence, but all mustard varieties I grow are easy and
fun to deal with. Mostly due to their fabulous taste my mustard champions are
varieties called Osaka Purple and Mizuna Red Streaks, both famous for
possessing warm, peppery flavor.
Did You Know That the Mustard…
...family is spread all over the
world in various types like black, brown and white mustard. I was also very excited to find
out that mustard is one of the oldest spices known to mankind.
The best for the last - the city of
Wisconsin, USA runs a museum dedicated to a single thing or more precisely to a
single plant - mustard. The museum
owns a collection of 5,000 jars of mustard, which come from 60 countries and 50
states! How about that!
